Avenue Q, a musical,whose characters are mainly puppets and are inspired by the children’s puppet show Sesame Street. It may be based on a children’s show, but Avenue Q mainly target’s adult issues. The music and lyrics of the musical are given by Jeff Marx and Robert Lopez, while it is directed by Jason Moore. It opened in 2003 in Vineyard Theatre and later transferred to Broadway. The musical have been through several productions since 2003. Avenue Q’sToronto tour will hit Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre on 29 July, 2008. The tour will end on 31 August. |
